cf 19 finger print reader problems

hi im new to this forum so just want to say hello first t

i have a cf19 mk 2 which i have bought a second hand finger print reader for . it shows okay in the bios but when in windows it shows tht its not reqistering the reader , it just says unable to detect please install reader
any help would be greatfull
its running windows 7 which i have the drivers from panasonic to suit
