help modul 3g qualcomm hs usb CFT8

I have a CF T8HW works very well, windows 7 32bit, all drivers are good, I have a slot for the 3G sim card on top of the screen and a driver that I have not found after many research, the drivers qualcomm hs-usb?
is that someone can help me find the drivers because I will like to use the 3G on my T8,

CF 19 battery drain

CF 19 mk4..
ublox gps
dual touch conversion
intel 6300 wifi
SSD
fingerprint reader
4gb ram
custom backlit keyboard.
Win7..32bit


Battery has slow discharge if I leave it in the CF19. Not a full drain overnight. Probably take 3 or 4 days to drain completely..maybe longer..tried 2 different batteries. Same results..Batteries ok if left out of CF19

Hi,

to improve the performace I'd like to replace the HDD with an SSD (Samsung 850 Evo) and this would be a good opportunity to update from XP to Win 7 x86/x64 but according to the panasonic homepage, there are no Win 7 drivers or driver packages available for my Toughbook CF-52 Mk1 (Model No. CF-52CCABVBG).

I was checking out some Linux stuff and saw a post about 32bit being easier on the battery..
That you get more run time with 32bit.
Anyone do a comparison of Win7 32bit vs 64bit run time?
I am more curious about a CF19, due the the smaller battery, but I am interested in results for any Toughbook...

Hi all, and apologies for this long first post:)
I wanted to use an automotive diagnostic function that had been installed on an HDD with on XP operating system, so had to substitute the XP HDD for the original Vista o/s HDD on my CF-19 Mk2 ToughBook.
Unfortunately that resulted in my T.B. no longer having internet connectivity, and its RS-232 serial port becoming non-operational:mad:

A customer of mine called me saying oe of his laptops isnt working. So I go down there and he shows me the USB port which is burned on 1 pin the whole length. I plug the usb device in and get no sound but the power light on the device shows green. I plug it to the adjacent port and same thing happens. No sound, power light is green. I plug it in the back ports and get no sound and a red fail light on the device in both back ports. The port that is burned shows power but the back ports which...

I'm thinking buying memory directly from Heartland may be overpriced.

I also know not all brands will work.

Does anyone have a trusted brand of memory they use for upgrades? A good discount supplier?

I do a bit of writing ....the new format as I have my NBR browser set up does not have quote or code in toolbar.

CF-30 No Display

Ok folks, here is another one.

I have a CF-30 that the display does not work on. It boots and I get the audible verification it's booted. The HD is being accessed properly and working. Speakers are working as well. Emissive keyboard is lit.

When it boots, I get the Panasonic boot screen for about 1 second and it's orange in color where it is normally grey. The blue background is black as well. I can't change the brightness at all.

Ideas?

I received a pre-release of the finished RTM build and decided to take a chance and upgrade my MK1.
Before I upgraded I made sure my Toughbook was running Windows 7 with all the drivers and everything running well.
I loaded the expanded ISO file onto a clean USB flash drive, started setup.exe, and let it do it's thing unattended.
Came back a few hours later to the welcome screen. (HELLO BOB)
All in all I am pretty happy. It found and loaded all drivers except the Intel...

my lovely toughbook is getting weirder please help "video included"

so I love my toughbook (I own CF-C2) I really do but ever since its battery is dead my laptop started issues
since its hot swap battery also dead I cannot unplug this laptop otherwise even for couple of seconds I will have to go to boot and save it than on windows I have to change the time

now this is happening in the video once I got out of boot screen instead of booting into windows hd runs like two seconds than restarts and it keeps going

Hi. My first post.

Recently purchased a CF-29 off ebay. A basic refurb I suppose. I'm not real familiar with the toughbook in general, it's my first. Model# CF-29NTQGZBM. My question is the sensitivity of the touch screen and if it can be adjusted. I have gone to my computer> mouse> touch screen tab. Ran the calibration utility, then to the advanced options with the sliders. I've adjusted the sliders both right and left and see no difference. I'll sometimes have to tap something 6-7 times...

Which terminal is best to connect a GPS patch antenna to? Main or Aux?

Will I need any of the wacky GOBI/WWAN software for GPS only?
