Hello

Sorry my first post is a question but i have searched and ended up even more confused.
I have bought a CF-19 for work (diagnostics) Its a MK1 as stated by the 6th letter being a "E". I have no issues with it at all. I reloaded the OS and drivers and all works fine so this is more curiosity really. The model number is CF-19EHG68TE and I cant seem to fit this into any model number list. Its too old OR wrong country for the configuration tool. I would just be...

CF-29 Getting Warm

I have decided to keep this laptop and not make it my primary laptop for eveyr day work. It works good in the field as a laptop that can display work orders and except signatures and of course, the long battery life.
What I need to know is what is causing the top and bottom of my laptop from getting warm? It has in the past been cool. I have had the laptop out for a week now and the laptop is very warm. in the past its been really hot. I removed the battery and it was fairly cool.

Hello,

this is my first post here. You may excuse me, my English is not so good. So maybe there has been this question already, but it would take too much time for me to find out, because I am so slowly in reading English text.

I have recently bought a Toughbook CF-19 MK1, my first Toughbook.
It's a CF-19CDD42UG.

The seller described it having a touchscreen and tablet function.It had a pen included (a black plastic one with a white point and a key on it.)

Hi guys & gals, I have just bought one of these to run diagnostic software for auto purposes & have a memory quandry as there isn't enough free memory to install the software I need.

I have removed all the unnecessary windows stuff as I will only use it for this purpose & still there is not enough.

I either install a bigger hdd, but do not have the windows disc.

Or install memory that I can put little used files on & this is where my question comes in.

Need CF31 mk2 Standard BIOS

I need a complete BIOS file for a CF31 mk2.
The backup program is AFUWINGUI.

Standard model, not performance or value, although I "think" they will all work.

The current BIOS is a special BIOS with the M12 at the end. I want one without the M designation at the end.

I need it because I have the custom BIOS for the USAF I want the normal BIOS.

It's time for my yearly dissertation (RANT) on my idea of forum etiquette.

Diagnose touchscreen problem on CF19

I need help diagnosing a touchscreen problem on a CF-19KHRAG2M. Mouse always returns to one specific spot on the screen. Sometimes it will stay for a few seconds after you move it but usually it moves back to the one spot as you are moving it with the touchpad. It is touchscreen related because if I disable the touchscreen in device manager the mouse will move fine with the touchpad. I do not see an indentation on the screen in or around this spot.
If I try to calibrate the screen I can get...

hi, guys. I want to buy a CF-19 Mk5 and have some questions

1st>Maxium 8GB ram?

2nd>Mk5 will run very hot on body(long time use high CPU broost, like 5 hours over 80% cpu useage)?

3th>will it prossable to mount 2 harddisks, like one pcie ssd and one sata HDD?

I prefer to use the CF-19 Mk5 for my main PC, and i want it run OS on ssd and storage mass data on 1tb HDD. i5-2520 support 16GB ram and Panasonic offical spec say CF-19 Mk5 maxium support 8GB ram,I confuse! i plan to install vmware...

The model number is CF19RDRAMDA. Is this the card under the back, if not what is it? How do I activate it and and test the functionality? I bought it on ebay and it was advertised that it had GPS, I contacted the seller and he said it was working. I have no way to confirm this.

I wonder some of you guys maybe own a or some toughbook for a long time or short, but really interesting what's the major jobs of yout toughbook. Some guys use for vehicle diagnoisis, some use for navigation, some for work for the job or just regular laptop (enterainment, broswer the web, text, spreadsheet, graphic .. and so on)

Touchscreen worked great until I let my kids play around on MS Paint (they like to color). Five minutes later, the calibration is out of whack and touching the screen with the stylus produces a highlight box instead of selecting whatever it is I touched.

This happened before, same situation, and I was able to fix it by resetting the calibration data in Control Panel\ Tablet PC Settings. Now, that box is greyed out.

I ran both the Fujitsu calibration...

Hi
quick question I have a CF19 that has locked me out of by my brother, whom now I don't talk to.
He's passworded my bios and changed the user name and pass on the xp start up.

While we can feel your pain, this community can not help in the discussion to bypass security features of a laptop as it is against the TOS.
